About Erin
Erin Dobbins completed her master's in general experimental psychology at Appalachian State University in 2013. She also received her BS in psychology with a concentration in health and human services and a minor in sociology and a BFA in studio art from Appalachian State in 2011.
Erin is interested in behavioral health psychology and interdisciplinary health research. This is reflected in her research experience which includes work on topics such as college students' drinking behavior, college student health, organ donation decision-making, breast self examination, eating behaviors and fat talk. While working on her master's degree Erin was employed by the University of Virginia's Social Norms Institute as a research assistant where she had the pleasure of working on the college health surveillance network.
